Today, we finally found the dimensions of the greenhouse. We concluded that it was 78 inches tall, 256 inches wide and 337 inches in length. This translates to 6.5 feet tall, 21.33 feet wide, and 28.1 ft long. Across the dome, it was 16 ft. In a few days, the materials will be decided.
The greenhouse before the repairs were in a beaten up condition. I assume this was caused by the sun and weathering over the past few years. The wood surrounding the base or "foundation" was still in fair condition. However, the wood supporting the PVC frame was crooked and desperate for a replacement. The plastic covering the greenhouse was totally gone, except for a couple remaining pieces. As for the remaining plastic (or whatever was left on the base), I could see how low grade the material was. Since the plastic sits in the
sun all day, it resulted in the plastic being worn out. It was very soft in texture and was easy to tear. Also, the window was broken along with the door.
